Pam Koner is the President and Founder of the Homework Club, which has been helping meet the needs of Hastings' families and working parents since 1994. The Homework Club is a unique, creative arts based childcare program designed to serve the needs of our communities pre-school and school-aged children.

Our Philosophy is based on our understanding that all children are unique and each child expresses their uniqueness in personality, rate of development, cognitive, physical and social growth.  We recognize the self-esteem within each child and establish realistic, age-appropriate goals to develop that gift. We Believe a quality program must have a nurturing, warm, caring staff who serve as adult role models for the children, and share the child's on-going progress with the parents or guardian.

We Go Beyond educational childcare to give parents the confidence to know that their child's every need will be cared for throughout the day.  From the forgotten lunch, to the emergency pick-up, unexpected school closing, even dinner if they can't make it home by 6:30 p.m.

We Believe the parent/program partnership is a key element to every child's success and think of our program as an extension of your family. We welcome your family's involvement.
